Leopold shatters fundraising records

With the amount of money that Leopold has raised could it be possible that he has his eyes set on a much higher office regardless of what he says right now? Does he have his eye set on returning to Annapolis? It remains to be seen what his plans are but I would say if he decided to run for Governor he would the automatic front runner. He is in his sixties so waiting for O’Malley to finish two terms seems unlikely, but not out of the question. If O’Malley loses it could be another eight years for an opportune run.
It would be interesting in this county for him to head for another office as it would leave the County Executive office open, which might prompt Johnson to not run for the Senate. Although Leopold always wanted to be Senator so that would be a nice move to end his political career on and one I would like to see if Schuh doesn’t run.
Before I get ahead of myself I guess maybe I should wait and see instead of starting these wild rumors with unknown speculations about who is doing what and when. I have to admit though it is fun thinking about the possibilities as in each scenario I see certain people jumping up and down, which is always good for a laugh when trying to entertain myself.

Okay I admit it, I made that up and it is absolutely not true, it’s not even a rumor. I do know it would make a certain blogger absolutely ecstatic, as it would rid the county of his archenemy. Needless to say Leopold will be remaining here for the foreseeable future from what I know. After all even moving into Government House will keep him in the county. While we don’t know what office John plans to run for in 2010, we also don’t know what he said to a group from China that made them erupt into laughter. Was it about Cathy Vitale or not we may never know and for the sake of all my readers I won’t speculate myself but will take suggestions.
