They Massage Horses, Don't They?

The war in Georgia, high energy prices, the Presidental election, the slowing economy; cast the petty thoughts from your minds, fellow citizens. How can we worry about trival, mundane things when tyranny stalks our lands, depriving our beasts their massages?

I refer to the story "Md. Woman Sues State For Right To Massage Horses" at http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/08/11/ap/national/main4336986.shtml

Mercedes Clemens is certified to massage humans, but she claims the state of Maryland is keeping her from her first love: Massaging horses.
Now she's suing two state agencies, saying regulators are unfairly barring registered massage therapists who want to practice on animals.
This isn't just a career for me, it's my passion," Clemens said. "If I was independently wealthy and I didn't need an income, I would do this for nothing. That's how much I love it."

For I say to you, this is a further attempt to deprive us of our God-given liberties. Will I not be able soon to pet my dog? Will the squirrel be deprived of its brisk rub down after a long day of tree climbing? Will the rabbit be denied those stretching exercises it so badly deserves?

I say thee nay, my fellow citizens. I call on all Americans to rise from their hearth and home, with the cry of liberty of their lips and a musket in their hands, ready to stand with their fellow brothers as our forefathers stood at Lexingotn and Concord.

Bottom Line: The government shouldn't interfere if some crazy chick wants to come over and massage my mule. God bless America!
