By the summer of 1944, Adolf Hitler was a victim of his own success. He had conquered so much territory, he was finding it difficult to defend it all. He was fighting the Russians in the east and fighting the Americans and British in the south as the Italians were collapsing under General Patton's tanks.

Conserve 32 Dinner recap

The Conserve 32 event went well last night at the Elks Lodge in Severn. The open to the public educational Forum put on by the local Republican Club ran very smooth, they had to actually bring in 2 more TABLES and stick more chairs at existing tables due to people walking in off the street from the community just to say they met the County Executive.

February is Heart Disease Awareness month

Folks I am a survivor of Open Heart Surgery. One of my goals the rest of my life is to promote others getting checked out for Heart Disease. I accidently discovered my heart disease at the young age of 20. In 2001 at the age of 28 I had Open Heart surgery and would not be alive today if not for either of those events I just mentioned.

Holiday week for Baltimore sports fans

Well lets start with the losing aspect of being a Baltimore sports fan as the Baltimore Orioles lost out on a bid to claim 1st baseman Mark Teixeira from Severna Park,Maryland. The 1st baseman opted to sign with the New York Yankees for 8 years and $170 million.

Sad news to pass along. Patrick J. Citroni was killed in an accident Early Thursday morning. Patrick is a loyal Republican backer who worked on several GOP candidates campaigns including Steele for Senate and most recently Richard Matthews for congress. RIchard will pass on more details when he can.

Normally dont post a meeting date but BRAC is going to hit District 32,AA County and the State of Maryland Of course it will affect our every day life as more people will be driving to and from the Ft Meade/Annapolis Junction area. Trip to the old ballyard

Last night the Orioles brought back the 1983 World Series Championship team. I was there stuck in the rain in the upper deck when the rains came. We, where under the cover up there then rain blasted in behind us, front of us and each side. I mean it came. We where stuck in the tunnel person to person when these drunks came in and where rude and obnoxious scaring kids and pissed off fathers.

The switch hitting slugging 1st baseman is thought to be a hot commodity this up coming free agent season when the 2008 season is all said and done.
