Leopold to help in Bruster's Ice Cream 5 year celebration

Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold and members of his administration will attend the 5th Anniversary Celebration of Glen Burnie Bruster's Ice Cream on Friday, April 11th at 6:00 am. WJZ - Channel 13 and Ron Matz will be filming live from location at 6:15 am.

AA county impact fee needed for smart growth

Folks looking at the proposed impact fee hikes comes as pleasant surprise to a man who has been worried about sloppy growth imposed on the county by past County leaders.  My thought is that fee proposed will be negiotated and drop but still a raise in the impact fee is needed.

Double A County making sense

Wow! Look what is going on folks. Anne Arundel County cracking down as reported by the Capital-Gazette. Finding multiple violations for failing inspections. Terrible upkeep on homes, to many cars parked in the yard without tags, to many people living in the home not reported.

Leopold shatters fundraising records

County Executive John R. Leopold has amassed a huge amount of money. What does he intent to do about it. I was talking just the other day with Gerald Starr and Fred Ryals and I said that Leopold was planing to run for Governor it was just a question of weather it would be 2010 or 2014? I am still wonder but this news makes it sound more like 2010 to me.

County Executives David R. Craig of Harford and John R. Leopold of Anne Arundel have been named co-chairmen of Republican Rudolph W. Giuliani's presidential campaign team in Maryland.

In addition to Craig and Leopold, three other co-chairs were named to the Republican presidential candidate's campaign efforts: Wicomico County Councilwoman Gail M. Bartkovich, former state Sen. Howard A. Denis of Montgomery County and former Frederick County State's Attorney Scott L. Rolle.
