On Tuesday, March 31st, I had the pleasure of joining fellow members of the District 32 Republican Club at the annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner hosted by the Republican State Central Committee of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Wow.

I gotta admit, tonight was something. First Bubba being Bubba, a classic speech something along the lines of "The Messiah will win if he'll be more like I was." Okay, Bubba, can't get over himself, a common failing among politicians, but he's a good speaker.

Okay, no kidding around this time, I'm on the job. Mamma Clinton speaks tonight, and I'm not going to miss it.

I situate myself in the Barca Lounger. Having a sinus headache all day, I fortify myself with a handful of Benedril and steel myself for the coming event.

I thought it would be a great idea to provide my expert commentary on the DNC going on in Denver. But since I wouldn't be caught dead in that nest of liberals (and also because I'm lazy, but that's kinda genetic), I'm going to give you the benefit of my wisdom from my basement.

This is revealing on so many levels. From the Washington Post, 9 June, “Senate Votes to Privatize Its Failing Restaurants:”

“Year after year, decade upon decade, the U.S. Senate's network of restaurants has lost staggering amounts of money -- more than $18 million since 1993, according to one report, and an estimated $2 million this year alone, according to another.”

Judge Orders Defendants To Learn English, Get Jobs

This is something I can support. For the record they were in the US legally but he gave the 1 year to learn English and get a job or go to Jail for 2 years. I saw a news program on this case. A defense attorney in the area who knows the Judge said

Many people have been wonder when the Nut Jobs in Code Pink and other radical anti-war groups were going to start blowing things up and killing people in an attempt to "save lives" well this bomb although pretty weak would have killed someone if they were around when the bomb went off. The bomber was lucky many "peace activist" in the past have killed guards and other people when blowing up places that no one was suppose to be at.

He Just Wanted To Be A Soldier

Critics say that only the poor and underprivileged choose to serve in the Armed Forces? Liberal in general tend to have a very low opinion of our troops in general. I doubt having someone as famous as Prince Harry will change that. Remember we are talking about liberal here. On the other hand he just wanted to sever his county and now thanks to Drudge he can't.

The economy is in pretty good shape so why are the Democrats saying it is not?

Despite the massive tax increases by O'Malley the economy seem fine here in Maryland. In fact the only places that seem to be having issue are parts of the country were Democrats are in control.

Global Warming Extremists Mugged By Reality

Although I find story like this fun to read. The leftest will simply point to area's like our that have had a very mild winter and claim it is prof of global warming and total ignore the facts.
